spiders and moving

So I went to Lincoln this weekend and helped Phil move for days in a row. It was exhausting yet satisfying. It was really fun to see him and know I was helping him out.

Also, tonight as I got back to Omaha I walked under a spider web that I was pretty sure had a spider on it. Well, I got inside and looked for the spider and sure enough there it was inside my pillow case. Doesn't get much grosser than that does it? The spider was also brown and decent sized. I wonder what it was. Oh the times I wish to be Tracy with her abundance of knowledge!

I don't know what to title this news

Alright, random information about me. In my life I have only ever admitted to thinking one boy band member is cute. I remember telling my friends when I was younger that I didn't know why everyone freaked out about boy bands and n'sync and stuff. So they badgered me until I admitted that at LEAST one of them was cute. I gave in and said that if I had to pick one of the N'sync boys it would be Lance bass. Well, they teased me for the next few years about it. When I left for college they even bought me a Lance Bass poster which I proudly adorned my dorm room with freshman year.

So, here is where the news goes. Yesterday I was watching CNN (I think- maybe it was something else CNN seems unlikely) and I heard that Lance Bass came out of the closet. So my betrothed (as my friends referred to him) prefers men. What an interesting turn of events. I guess that is alright since I am dating someone else. Now I can assume beyond a shadow of a doubt that God has different plans for my life. :)

You know you are bored when...

A) You post on your blog EVERYDAY... sometimes even multiple times a day!!!! Guilty!

B) You spend your time discussing new words for the term D-T-R. Ummmm.... Phil and I have spent probably hours discussing new words for DTR which traditionally stands for define the relationship.

Here are some alternatives we discovered:
D= deter, dehumanize, demolish, demand (this was thanks to me), defer, delay, denude (that was thanks to the wonderful Phil himself), defend, deepen, disorganize, deplete, demotivate, disenfranchise, disband, die, discover, deharmonize

So you can read this: deter the relationship, dehumanize the relationship, demolish the relationship...

Any other thoughts? Watch out this is kind of an addicting exercise.

My promise to you

Alright peeps... I am going running. I am planning on working out Tues-Fri of this week everyday. I won' t lift everyday but do some aerobic exercise. Now that I've told the internet public I have to do it, right?

Amazing Day

I had an absolutely amazing day! I worked out so hard that my arms were shaky for the next couple hours (I biked for a half hour and lifted). Then, I worked on Bible study at Starbucks. I learned today that my favorite Starbucks drink has 440 calories in it. I need to find something new to like there. It wouldn't really be bad if it cost less too.

After this, I talked to Evie. Evie and I still do accountability almost every week but it has been almost 2 months since we chatted. Man, it was so sweet to talk to her. Oh it is so precious to be known and loved. I missed talking to her.

Finally, I went to Bible study and closed the evening by chatting on the phone with an old friend for a while tonight. As far as lazy summer days go, it was A-mazing!

By the way, I saw a spider today that was 4 inches in diameter. It was brown and in a bathroom but it wasn't hairy. I guess if you are going to be that big and a spider it is good not to be hairy. Needless to say I didn't use the bathroom. EWWW!
